Top NFL Running Back Groups
The Indianapolis Colts lead this ranking at No. 1, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers. The Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions complete the top five.
The top of the list includes several teams with established rushing attacks and talented backfields. Atlanta, for example, is ranked No. 1 in PFF’s current 2026 running back unit rankings, led by Bijan Robinson, while Detroit is No. 2 with Jahmyr Gibbs leading its backfield.

At the other end, the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars occupy the bottom four spots in this particular ranking.
