NFL Scouting Combine 2026 Schedule
The road to the 2026 season officially begins in Indianapolis as the NFL world gathers for the annual scouting showcase. Coaches, general managers, and 300+ draft prospects will take center stage at Lucas Oil Stadium, giving fans their first real look at the future stars of the league before the 2026 NFL Draft.
The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine kicks off with media sessions starting Tuesday, Feb. 24, as select head coaches and general managers address the press. One of the key appearances includes Brian Gutekunst, who is scheduled to speak at 10:15 AM ET. Over the next several days, prospects will meet with teams, undergo medical evaluations, and prepare for the all-important on-field drills.
On-field workouts begin Thursday, Feb. 26, at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts. Defensive linemen, linebackers, and kickers start the action at 3:00 PM ET. Defensive backs and tight ends follow on Friday at 3:00 PM ET. Saturday shifts the spotlight to quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers at 1:00 PM ET, while offensive linemen close out the workouts on Sunday, March 1, at 1:00 PM ET.
All drills will air live on NFL Network, with streaming available through the NFL+ app, giving fans across the USA full access to every 40-yard dash and bench press rep.
What Players Will Do
Prospects can participate in a full range of athletic testing, including:
- 40-yard dash
- 3-cone drill
- Short shuttle
- Vertical jump
- Broad jump
- Bench press (held the day after each group’s field workout)
With 319 invited players expected to compete, the Combine is more than just workouts – it’s interviews, medical checks, and a proving ground where draft boards can rise or fall overnight. For NFL fans, this week in Indianapolis offers the first real glimpse of who could be suiting up on Sundays this fall.
