Season Outlook

The 49ers’ 2026 schedule is among the most difficult in the league, combining international travel, primetime games, and elite opponent matchups. NFC West battles against the Rams, Seahawks, and Cardinals will be critical, while games against the Cowboys, Eagles, Chiefs, and Dolphins will test their championship readiness.

If San Francisco can protect Levi’s Stadium and stay consistent on the road, especially in tough environments like Dallas, Seattle, and Kansas City, it will remain a strong contender for a deep NFC playoff run. However, with a demanding late-season stretch and multiple global games, durability and execution will define their 2026 campaign.
