2025 Texas Longhorns Football Season Recap
The Texas Longhorns football team put together a strong campaign during the 2025 college football season, competing in the highly competitive Southeastern Conference (SEC). Texas faced several tough matchups throughout the year, including early road tests and major conference rivalries, while playing its home games at the iconic Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.
The Longhorns bounced back from an opening-week loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes football with a series of convincing victories over nonconference opponents. Texas continued to compete well in SEC play, highlighted by key wins against the Oklahoma Sooners football in the Red River rivalry and a dramatic overtime victory against the Mississippi State Bulldogs football.
